Technology giant Epson has announced the launch of a new projector line-up, which is set to become part of its award-winning home cinema projector range.
The company’s 2016 home entertainment projector collection is set to follow in the footsteps of the industry leading Epson EH-TW7200 and EH-TW9200W devices, which are currently on the market for £1,799 and £2,999 respectively.
According to Epson, the EH-TW7300 and EH-TW9300 projectors will be released with full Ultra HD and HDR content support, while the EH-TW9300W takes the home cinema experience to the next level with technology capable of streaming 4K resolution video content from phones, tablets or games consoles using a 4K WiHD transmitter.
All three models in Epson’s brand new line-up also support 4K enhancement, a technology that claims to draw the most enhanced image possible from HD and 4K content.
Featuring the latest Epson technology, the EH-TW7300 delivers 2,300 lumens of brightness and a contrast ratio of 160,000:1. However, the image quality is pushed even further in the EH-TW9300 and EH-TW9300W, which deliver 2,500 lumens of brightness and an impressive contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1, making them the ideal choice for a home entertainment fanatic.
Epson has further enhanced the home entertainment experience delivered by the new collection by including simple set-up motorised focus and zoom controls, which work to enhance the images without distorting their quality.
The use of 3LCD lens technology also boosts the home cinema experience, while 3D video support brings the full theatre atmosphere into the home.
According to Epson, the EH-TW7300, EH-TW9300 and EH-TW9300W are expected to be released across the UK in September with initial price tags of £2,199, £2,999 and £3,299 respectively.
