Epson has released three new projectors aimed primarily at the home cinema market.
All three models can output images at a brightness of 2,500 lumens, which allow them to be watched in a brightly lit room without adverse affects. They are also able to output contrast ratios of 1,000,000:1 for deep blacks.
The EH-TW9300W has the added ability to have a wireless connection, allowing both ease of connectivity and placement of projector without wires getting in the way.
The three projectors also come with 1080p Full HD resolution but also come with another neat feature. Adding 4K Enhancement Technology, effectively moving each pixel diagonally by half a pixel, results in double the resolution.
On the optics front, the lens can be offset to by 96.3 per cent vertically and 47.1 per cent horizontally. This means that the projectors do not have to be located directly in front of the area in which they are to project.
The use of 3LCD lens technology also boosts the home cinema experience, while 3D video support brings the full theatre atmosphere into the home.
According to Epson, the EH-TW7300, EH-TW9300 and EH-TW9300W are expected to be released across the UK in September with initial recommended retail price tags of £2,199, £2,999 and £3,299 respectively.
