Digital Projection, a manufacturer of high performance projection systems, has announced the launch of the world’s first production high brightness 12,000 lumens laser projector.
The HIGHLITE Laser 12k delivers 12,000 lumens of brightness combined with 20,000 hours of stable solid-state illumination, reducing the need for maintenance, which is often required with traditional lamp technology.
The brand new projection system also comes with WUXGA resolution and incorporates Edge Blending technology as standard, along with geometric correction functionality.
The HIGHLITE Laser 12k projector includes fully active 3D with up to 144 Hz refresh rate to provide users with flicker-free viewing. As well as this, the new projector includes dual HDMI 1.4, DVI and 3G-SDI inputs to provide the latest in high-speed video delivery technology.
For those wishing to transmit uncompressed HD video over a CAT5e/6 LAN cable, this new projector system is built complete with HDBaseT connectivity. There are also a number of lenses available to increase the projector’s versatility, currently ranging from 0.77:1 to 6.76:1.
Digital Projection has announced that the HIGHLITE Laser 12k’s launch will take place at the ISE 2014 exhibition and shipping will begin shortly after in March 2014.
