At the event will be the award-winning Christie Pandoras Box as well as the Widget designer (essentially an application builder software). These create the dazzling displays and real-time installations we see today as well as the projection mapping and large scale events.
This year’s GITEX the technical team will demonstrate the latest version of the software and showcase the interface and workflow. It will be the first time this software is shown and will allow people to see how simple it is to use.
Christie booth will also show a number of LCD, 1DLP and 3DLP projectors and will have a number of hardware devices for every budget. The Christie Boxer and 1DLP Christie HS Series of laser phosphor projectors will also be on display. These offer 30,000 and 13,000 lumens of brightness.
The ultra short throw Christie Captiva laser phosphor is ideal for classrooms or museums and allows users to maximise their space without sacrificing visual impact. In addition, the Christie FHQ981-L flat pane will be displayed. Coming in at 98 inches, the LCD flat panel is perfect for boardrooms.
David Griffiths, director of market development and systems solutions for Christie’s, speaking about the event: “People need to understand what they want to achieve and what each technology can do. Then they get the best performance to value.”
