100-inch projector screen offers optimum quality

Projector screen specialists, Capital Screen, have pooled all their expertise to create a new top-of-the-range 100-inch electric projector screen.

The retractable screen – which can be opened out and stashed away at the push of a button – features a glass beaded surface which serves to not only brighten the projected image, but also increase the capacity of the reflection, enhancing viewing in even the most difficult of viewing environments.

It also enables the screen to offer a smaller viewing angle, which makes the product perfect for optimising home viewing.

Where the screen really stands out is in its flexibility and the fact that the screen's remote control is capable of operating every function without the viewer having to leave their seat. The screen also comes with a flexible mounting system, enabling users to choose any option for locating their screen, whether they want it free-standing, mounted on the wall or suspended from the ceiling.

In terms of design, the wrinkle and tear-proof screen features the 16:9 widescreen format, and comes with a black border that sharpens the appearance of the images and enhances the picture. It is also equipped with a 1.8 gain, which reflects the projected light at a higher percentage.

  1. I have a screen ‘space’ 2.7m wide x 1.4m high. We sit 5m from the screen.
We would principally want to show films – from Blu-Ray DVD
Whilst projector and screen could be ceiling mounted, I should prefer floor stand for the screen (but that could be easily ceiling), and coffee table height for the projector, if the angle of the throw can be adjusted enough for that.
    What do you suggest, please?
