| Educational customers - please call us for discount pricing The interactive whiteboard combines the power of your computer and projector into a powerful tool for teaching, collaborating and presenting. It works by projecting the computer image onto the touch-sensitive board where you can then use your finger as a mouse and control any application on your computer. You can also use a pen from the Pen Tray, and either by using the pen or your finger, write, draw, take notes and highlight. The board allows everyone to clearly see the progression of the presentation and all notes or adjustments made can be stored. The perfect tool for training or brainstorming sessions! Whatever the use, teaching, training or presentations, interactive whiteboards save time, increase interactivity within the group and improve communication. |

Promethean ACTIVBOARD interactive whiteboard
Integral to the Activboard is Promethean's specially designed electromagnetic grid, which will remain unaffected by any screen surface damage. The grid ensures incredible accuracy, with on-screen tools such as protractors, can measure down to a single degree. Activboard comes complete with two Activpens that write exactly like pens with the added functionality of a mouse. Promethean ACTIVOTE
Deliberately simple to use (so that the technology doesn’t interfere with the Teaching and Learning), the system is equally effective in the Foundation Stage as it is within Higher Education. Although lower-case lettered handsets are available for younger children, age differentiation is made mainly through the choice of either piece of Promethean’s award-winning software (Activprimary or Activstudio). Flexibility is key in any learning environment hence why Activote can be used is several ways. Integrated into Promethean’s software it can be used ad-hoc, allowing teachers to ask unplanned questions as they occur. However, it also works effortlessly over any application or website.
